Interactive S(Q, E) explorer for 3D inelastic data
Load a gridded ASCII export of a 3D dataset (Q1, Q2, energy) and take 2D slices or 1D cuts with adjustable integration ranges. All processing happens locally in your browser; no data leaves your computer.
Upload a Mantid or Horace style ASCII export: a header line naming the Intensity, Error, and axis columns, a shape line, and one whitespace-separated row per grid point. For example, in Shiver at the SNS, make a 3D slice (two Q axes and energy) of your reduced data and save it as an ASCII file; that exported .dat file loads here directly. Axes with a single bin are treated as already integrated. Slice mode shows a 2D color map of any two axes with the third integrated over a chosen window. Cut mode integrates two axes over chosen windows and plots intensity along the third, with propagated error bars and optional rebinning.
